So, the finished sample of the device will be in soon. It has been around 5 years getting this product to the market and it will revolutionize how we tie up our boats. People around the world have has a huge frustration tying up their boats. And I want to solve that problem. So, here is the device in a nutshell.

BōT RōP (Boat Rope) is an innovative retractable mooring line that replaces traditional three-strand lines and toe-stubbing cleats. The patent-pending device stores and protects the double braided line and plastic-coated snap hook inside a rust-proof enclosure. Flush to the surface, there's nothing to trip over, so it makes walking on a dock safer.

The product is simple to use. The boater opens the lockable cover, draws out the required amount of line, and closes the cover. The line can be set to automatically lock in place, or extend and retract for tidal conditions. When ready to cast off, the cover is easily opened and the line instantly retracts. To help find the unit after dark, a solar-powered LED light is installed on the cover. It is ideal for private and commercial moorages, especially fuel and restaurant docks.
